Yahoo removes DEI pages from its website

Tech Yahoo has removed several pages and other sections from its website in recent months related to its diversity and stock and inclusive rights (Dei), according to Techcrunch.

The previously dedicated Yahoo site is no longer downloaded and directed instead to the company’s executive leadership page. A previous version of the Yahoo leadership page in late 2024, which mentioned a language indicating diversity and inclusion but does not appear on the current Yahoo website. The Yahoo 2022 diversity report is no longer made an error and a “page that is not present” mistake. While open positions on Yahoo’s job site still announces a link for the previous DEI page for Yahoo, the page is now returning to the Yahoo leadership page.

Yahoo, who owns Techcrunch, has changed the website between December 2024 and January 2025, according to the historical versions of Yahoo, which was hosted on Wayback Archive Archive.

“We have renewed our website late last year as the first part of redesigning multi -stage stages with CES and Yahoo ads for our re -launch,” Brenden Lee, Yahoo spokesman, told Techcrunch in a statement.

Yahoo is the latest American company recently to expand its public statements about Dei amid continuous efforts by the Trump administration to suppress Dei’s policies in both public and private sectors.

Since he took office again, president Trump has signed many executive orders aimed at pressuring private companies to decline their Dei programs. In February, US Public Prosecutor Bam Bondi ordered the Ministry of Justice to “investigate, judge and punish” DEI programs in private sector companies that receive federal funds.

Many technology companies, including Google and Openai, have spread the signals from Dei from their websites in recent months. META also canceled Dei’s programs for companies days before the Trump administration took office, noting the “changing” legal scene in relation to Dei. Soon after, Amazon deleted the formulation and diversity of its annual report submitted to the organizers.

Techcrunch said in March that the US health insurance giant UNITEDHEALTH has also searched a lot of its website on the DEI website.
