According to Vanity Fair, a new issue of the print edition of The Wall Street Journal was released on Monday, January 26. Furthermore, the post included an apology message from Ye. “To those I hurt” The message is titled.

“Twenty-five years ago, I was in a car accident that fractured my jaw and injured the right frontal lobe of my brain. At the time, the focus was on the visible damage — the breakage, swelling, and direct physical trauma. The deeper injury, the one inside my skull, went unnoticed,” the rapper wrote at the beginning of his message.

As the note continued, Yee revealed that the “frontal lobe injury” he suffered was not diagnosed until 2023. Furthermore, he stated that the “medical supervision” had caused “serious damage” to his mental health. Additionally, he stated that it contributed to his diagnosis of bipolar disorder.

Yi then went on to explain that he thought he was seeing the world clearly, but he was in a state of mania and in “denial.” All this while feeling “strong, certain, and unstoppable.”

“In that torn state,” he continued, “I gravitated toward the most destructive symbol I could find, which was the swastika.”

Ultimately, he said he was “scared” by his actions. He is “not a Nazi” or an “anti-Semite.”

At that point, Yee addressed the black community, apologizing for letting the community down. Furthermore, Yee noted that he fell into a manic episode for 4 months and was eventually able to get help through his wife, Bianca Sensori.

He continued: “My words as a leader in my community have a real global impact and impact. In my obsession, I completely lost sight of that.”

As he concluded, Yee noted that when he found his baseline “through an effective regimen of medication, therapy, exercise, and clean living,” his clarity is now renewed. Moreover, he plans to engage in his various artistic paths and “help” the world.

“I do not ask for sympathy or passage, although I aspire to your pardon. I write today simply to ask for your patience and understanding as I find my way home,” he concluded.
