GOP lawmakers target online pornography, propose interstate ban on obscene content

senator Mike Lee, R-UTAH, presented a draft law aimed at criminalizing pornography and determining what is obscene and otherwise.

LEE and Reply. Mary Miller, R-Ell. , The Ioda (IDA) definition law for all states, which, if passed, would make it illegal transfer of obscene content across state lines with facilitating the prosecution as well.

“The obscenity is not protected by the first amendment, but the fog and implemented legal definitions allowed extremist pornography to satisfy American society and reach countless children,” he told me in a press statement. “Our draft law updates the legal definition of obscenity of the Internet, so that this content can be removed and the street vendors can be removed.”

Ioda tries to clarify the definition of obscenity in all states and gives updated descriptions suitable for modern content.
