Social media users recently taken to Reddit on the pretext that a company launched more than 300 employees without any prior notice or warning. In one of the posts, the user claimed that they were expelled from the company for a mockery and unfair reason without warning or an opportunity to improve.
“I never thought I would write this, but here. Today, I was expelled from Zomato when I can only describe it as an irrevocable and unfair reason; to delay only 28 minutes over the past three months. No warning, no chance to improve – just a cold termination, although there is excellent standards, a large record on tracking, and a strong presence on the ground,” the user wrote.
They also claimed in office that more than 300 employees were expelled under similar circumstances and that Zomato was not ready to give any chances of improvement. “They did not care about the effort we made, the results we presented, or the dedication we showed. Like this, they wiped hundreds of jobs without a second thinking,” the user also wrote.

Even the user warned people against joining Zomato, claiming that the company treats employees that they can get rid of them regardless of their contributions. “If you work in Zomato or think about joining, be sure to warn; your hard work does not mean anything to them when they decide that time has come to reduce the numbers.”
Another user in the Reddit publication said that the company launched more than 500 employees without any warning or accountability at all.
“Zomato promised professional growth – promotional offers, high salaries, stability. We have worked longer hours, we pushed more power, and we believe in the company. Then, from nothing, they shot 500 of us. No warning. No accountability. Just cold,“ never has anything to do with anything, ”the user wrote.
They also said that this is the situation in all other companies’ office and not just zomato. “The noise of employees with large dreams, extracting the maximum effort, then replacing them like the disposable parts. A new boost will come, nourish the same lies, and the cycle continues.”
Meanwhile, the company has registered up to 600 employees to support customers within a year of their employment. This decision follows a slowdown in growth in basic food delivery and increased losses in its Blinkit company. To reduce costs, Zomato performs artificial intelligence to automate customer support functions, according to the Livemint report.
