The Chief of Local Intelligence in Israel accused Benjamin Netanyahu of demanding that he be ready to challenge the country’s Supreme Court, as he set a series of claims against the Prime Minister who was imprisoned in a legal battle.

In a written statement divided before the Supreme Court on Monday, President of Shin Beit Ronin Bar said that he was also asked to use the powers of his spy agency to monitor anti -government demonstrators and stop the ongoing trial of corruption in the Prime Minister.

The document was presented before further deliberations by judges on whether Netanyahu could legally launch the head of espionage. His government dismissed the lawyers last month, but the Supreme Court issued a judicial order stopping the removal until its legality was resolved.

This came amid a broader clash between the government and the Israeli judicial authorities. Bar in the written statement that Netanyahu asked for any constitutional confrontation in the future, “I am [must] Obedience to the Prime Minister, not the Supreme Court. “

Since this request was submitted, fears have increased that shooting on a bar can become itself the trigger of a constitutional crisis if the Netanyahu government refuses to obey the Supreme Court ruling.

In the document, the Leader of Shane Hann said that Netanyahu tried to politicize the local intelligence service because of his personal and political ends, adding that the rift for men stems from Bar’s rejection.

“origin [of my firing] It was not in the professional dimension, but rather. . . Bar wrote: “Personal loyalty is expected by the Prime Minister.”

Bar said that he refused to push Netanyahu to issue a security justification late last year, as Israel participated in multiple conflicts, to enable the Prime Minister to avoid martyrdom in the long -term corruption trial.

He also refused to use strong intelligence tools in his agency to spy on demonstrators against the government, as he wrote in the general part of the written certificate, which ran on dozens of pages, including the classified parts that were not publicly published.

Bar said that the full document included evidence of all his allegations.

Netanyahu’s office said: “Ronin Bar certificate is full of lying and reveals his failures.”

Netanyahu’s allies have escalated in the government and on social media, including his son Yair, attacks on the bar in recent weeks, accused of betrayal and the management of the “secret police” and “private militias” that resemble him in the East German Stase.

These attacks were part of a broader general assault by the government for what Netanyahu described as a “deep state”, including an attempt to blame the destructive Hamas attack on October 7, 2023 for the security chiefs in force at that time.

The Israeli legal authorities, including Shin Bet, were investigated in the major assistants of Netanyahu by allegedly making paid pressure on behalf of Qatar and the leakage of classified documents.

In addition to Bar, the government tried to dismiss the prosecutor and refused to recognize the appointment of the current head of the Supreme Court, while the Chief of Staff of the Army and the Defense Minister has already been removed from their positions.

Netanyahu’s allies sometimes raised conspiracy theories that indicate that, along with other security chiefs, they simply allowed the October 7 attack on southern Israel in an attempt to topple the Prime Minister.

A bar, in his testimony, is called such allegations. [Shin Bet]”.

He said that more than an hour before the devastating Hamas attack, he instructed that the military secretary of Netanyahu be notified of irregular intelligence signs coming from Gaza.

Netanyahu said on Monday that his military assistant had not been notified just minutes ago about the attack of Palestinian militants on October 7. He denied that he requested measures to postpone his trial or request a “illegal action” against anti -government demonstrators.

“Ronen Bar is the father of failure [of October 7] He must go home. ”

The Prime Minister has continued to continue to express any recognition of responsibility for the worst loss in life in Israeli history, and has led to the establishment of a national investigation committee for the full investigation of the attack.

On Sunday, opposition leader Yer Lapid warned against the attorneys, noting “unprecedented incitement and madness levels.”

“If we do not stop this, there will be a political assassination here. Maybe more than one. Jews will kill the Jews,” Lapid added.

Bar had previously confessed to his responsibility for the failures that allowed Hamas’s attack and said he intended to step down before the end of his term.

In the written testimony, he said that “in the near future”, he would set an appointment to leave, but he said that the court session was decisive to ensure that his successor remains non -political and professional and committed the law.
