The International Games Association (IGDA-F) has appointed Microsoft Exec Shannon Loftis as a new chairman of its board of directors. It replaces another colleague of Microsoft Ed Fries, who is stepped down after two successful years leading the organization and will remain in the board of directors. After more than 30 years of experience in developing games in Microsoft and Beyond, Loftis retired from its function that runs the Age of Empires studio in Microsoft in 2022.
