Lenovo ThinkPad X9 14 Aura Edition Review: No More TrackPoint

The webcam is 1080 pixels, and it is solid, although we see a lot of excellent laptops traveling to 5 megapixels or even 12 -megapixels such as the new MacBook Air from Apple (M4). I faced one serious problem – during video calls. The camera worked well, but every time a video call began, it will hit the black every few seconds. Lenovo seemed convinced that this is an error that could be installed, but this is not what you want to see on the price machine.

Fast and long enough?

Thinkpad X9 14 is available in two options for the processor, Intel Core Ultra 5 226V and Core Ultra 7 258V. My unit was the fastest option, although it was not strong. It is part of the Lunar Lake series in Intel, which tends to balance towards efficiency and battery life instead of brutal power. This is expected in the laptop category (although it is worth noting how quickly M4 MacBook Air is compared to comparison).

I didn’t like the Cinebench and Geekbench degrees, but as long as you shop in the right category to meet your needs, you will not be disappointed by ThinkPad X9 14. For public work and commercial cases, Thinkpad X9 14 will suit you well.

The battery life is not as much as much as I hope, as it lasted only 12 hours and 15 minutes to test my local video, behind many of its peers – or at least laptops with this slide. This is better than Windows laptops in previous Intel generations. Depending on your work burden, it may still bring you most of the working day away from the wall.

New era

Thinkpad X9 14 feels an experiment. On the official website of Lenovo, the device distinguishes towards small business owners, which is theoretically logical, but Lenovo also has a ThinkBook line, a completely separate brand dedicated to this demographic. They tend to be more affordable, while Thinkpad X9 14 carries distinctive features and design.

The OLED screen, the insomnia structure, and the HAPTIC are prominent points, and the TRACPOINT removal helps increase the update of this laptop in my book. Only Thinkpad Diehars is still divided into unique navigation, which is what Lenovo executive officials realize. Thinkpad X9 is 14 good steps in the development of the brand that exceeds its roots, but the competition is harsh, which provides a better life for the battery and performance at lower prices. It provides laptops such as Microsoft Surface Labtop 7th Edition, MacBook Air or ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED some of these benefits or all.

If the Thinkpad mark still bears a sign of the proportions for you, then Thinkpad X9 14 definitely moves it to a new era, as long as you are ready to say goodbye to the beloved path point.
